The Navimag ship operates out of Puerto Montt and Puerto Natales.

Called the Evangelists the ship is 123mt long and 21mt wide, offering 38 cabins and 132 berths. It is really a cargo and transport ferry operating between Puerto Montt and Puerto Natales, but she also takes on passengers. The cruise route offered is called the Kaweskar, named after the indigenous Indian people who inhabited this part of the World.

The route takes in the tranquil and scenic channels, fiords and island inlets and past the magnificent natural Patagonian landscapes of native forests, glaciers as well as opportunities to spot marine life. During the trip passengers will receive informative talks, all meals and audiovisual presentations.

This is not only a great way to get to, or depart from Puerto Natales, but you also see a totally virgin part of the Patagonic landscape from the sea. This, however, should not be considered as an up-market cruise because it is not, but it is good value and fun and an adventure.

Departures Going South from Puerto Montt

Departures from Puerto Montt are on a Friday at 16:00hrs with check in required before 14:00hrs and the cruise takes 4 days arriving the following Monday in Puerto Natales at 15:00hrs (subject to weather conditions).

Departures Going North from Puerto Natales

Departures from Puerto Natales are on a Wednesday at 06:00hrs with check-in required on the Tuesday before 20:00hrs

Rates Per Person for either Route

There are three types of cabins, ranging from the more comfortable to the more basic.

AAA     – 2 bunk beds, inside shower room and W/C, window.

AA        - 4 bunk beds, inside shower room and W/C, window.

A          - 4 bunk beds, outside shower room and W/C.

High-Season (Nov – Mar) Rates are from those shown below for cabin type, and are per person (pp), per route:

AAA     – USD1,250 pp

AA        – USD1,200 pp
