The Hotel Cabanas del Paine is located in the Rio Serrano end of Torres del Paine Park, about 7km from the Park Admin centre and beside the clear-running waters of the River Serrano.
Although called "Cabanas" (cabins), the set up is that of a hotel with the accommodation split between spacious self-contained suites in the well-built log cabins and some rooms in the main reception building. The restaurant is in the main building and is known to offer good food.
One of the keys to Cabanas del Paine is the magnificent view back over the plain to the Central Massif in Torres del Paine and also the setting by the river.
If you have a car this is a good base from where to explore the rest of Torres del Paine.
