The Estancia Cerro Guido is an authentic working Patagonian estancia. Originally established by British sheep farmers who settled in the area in the late 1800’s. The estancia comprises a number of outbuildings and even boasts its own school.
Accommodation is either in the excellent standard-category rooms in one unit or the very spacious superior-level rooms in a separate building that used to be one of the estancia's residential homes.
The views from Cerro Guido stretch as far as the eye can see over the Patagonian Plains and out of the restaurant windows is a stunning view back to the Torres of Torres del Paine.
For horse lovers Cerro Guido is perfect as they offer daily rides as well as an option to stay over in another area in a quiet and remote zone far removed from the main estancia.
If you have a car you can use Cerro Guido as a base from which to venture out into Torres del Paine or use their guided excursion services. Torres del Paine main entrance is about a 50min drive.
For something different Estancia Cerro Guido not only offers great accommodation and base from which to get into Torres del Paine, but also an opportunity to experience Patagonian life.
