Hosteria Lago Grey enjoys a unique position in Torres del Paine. It is located on the shores of Grey Lake with an unobstructed view across the length of Grey Lake to the glacier at the far end. Although the glacier is somewhat in the distance any ice bergs that are floating in the lake can be seen and this offers a wonderful spectacle.
The hotel is of a good level with a number of lodge-style modules containing the accommodation each room with en-suite bathrooms. In a separate area is the reception, lounge and bar - with picture windows looking directly out to the lake - and restaurant that offer good food and wine selection and great view to the lake.
Recently opened are the modern, superior category rooms with direct views out to the lake.
The navigation across Grey Lake to the glacier at the far end also operates from here.
