The Hosteria Las Torres, or Hotel Las Torres is the only place in Torres del Paine that sits on private land. It is located in a key connecting zone for the main trekking trails known as the W and Circuit. Hosteria Las Torres is therefore very useful if you want to stay in comfort and still trek up to the Mirador, or start or end your trek here.
It endured an upgrade during 2005 and offers comfortable rooms with en-suite facilities. Its restaurant is run on a buffet-style whereupon diners get up and go and select their food. It is frequented by hikers who want a comfortable room to sleep in and is a busy place.
The hosteria has a super exhibition room that illustrates the history of Torres del Paine and where the welcome drink is served to newly-arriving guests.
As with the Explora hotel, the Hosteria Las Torres is now offering all-inclusive packages that include pick-up and return transfers, accommodation, all meals and a menu of guided excursions to chose from as well as horse riding and a health spa.
For those who prefer an all-inclusive option, but have a limited budget, Hosteria Las Torres is a good bet.
