The refugio Las Torres Norte is located about 150m from Refugio Las Torres Central. Both of these refugios are situated about 500m east of the Hosteria Las Torres. The area is serviced by shuttle van from Laguna Amarga.
The Refugio Las Torres Norte is a simple hikers' hostel offering 62 bunk-beds in 9 dormitory rooms with segregated, communal shower and WC facilities. Meals are taken in the dining area of Refugio Las Torres Central.
